Arabian Gulf University
The Arabian Gulf University and the College of Medicine and Medical Sciences were established by a Decree from the General Council of Ministers of Education in the GCC Countries at their 5th Meeting in Kuwait on 30th March 1980 following a problem-based, student-centered curriculum. The primary mission of the College is to produce Medical Graduates able to recognize and respond effectively to the health needs of the individuals, families and communities of the Arabian Gulf Region, and to facilitate developments at all levels in the continuum of medical education and undertakes basic and applied research in response to priority health needs of the Region.
American University of Beirut Medical Center
The American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) has been hosting the Association of Academic Health Centers International (AAHCI) Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Regional Office since 2017, with an objective to further engage and network with peer institutions in the region to share knowledge and expertise in addressing the challenges and growth strategies facing academic medical centers
Bezmialem Vakif University
Bezmialem Vakıf University, originating from the roots of Gureba-i Müslimin, the first modern hospital of the Ottoman Empire that was founded in 1845, was transformed into a university in 2010 as a thematic university in health. It is a non-profit foundation university which aims to make progress in education, health care and research. BVU aims to keep being a reference institution worldwide especially with its School of Medicine and attaches great importance to the international cooperations among the leading top-notch universities in the field of health. BVU is a member of AAMC also listed in ECFMG.
